Follow the capture instructions for your task. Record your own work and complete the identity and authenticity checks. A witness statement may support the evidence, but your assessor decides whether the full assessment requirements are met.

Card request and delivery
We request your card once your NVQ is awarded and we have verified the required GQA or equivalent CITB health and safety test pass, your identity and the remaining application details.

How the card routes compare
Choose the route for your current role and qualifications. You do not need to hold Green before Blue.
Green CSCS Q-Card
Whether you are new to construction or already work as a labourer, this route provides the qualification and health and safety test required for your Green CSCS Q-Card.
Blue Skilled Worker Card
NVQ Level 2 for a skilled trade, with evidence from suitable current work.
Gold Advanced Craft or Supervisor Card
GQA NVQ at Level 3 or 4.
Black Manager Card
Site management: relevant construction-management NVQ at Level 5, 6 or 7. Package pricing varies by level.
